cheer

I hate to disappoint you today, but unfortunately I didn’t make a tutorial for this little number. . . .
Lexi, my lovely model

If that’s not the most attractive cheer leading costume you’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is.

My friend Chelsea’s little sister is in a production for our church and her mom asked me to whip this up.  We all knew it was going to be slightly horrendous.
It was the first time in a long time that I followed a pattern.  And I’m still not converted.  The directions were vague and there were only 5 steps.  But step one would be some thing like, “sew all 15 skirt pieces together, attach waistband and zipper.”   oh, that’s all?  But hey, it’s completed and actually wearable.
