Can you call a pencil skirt sporty? Sure! When it’s a stretchy knit and you pair it with sneakers. Confession: when I am home with the kids cleaning house, making lunch, playing cars, wiping noses, etc, etc, my hair is usually up and whatever bottoms I am wearing have a good amount of stretch in them. I do try to make myself a bit more presentable if I have to run errands, so I switch out the pencil holding up my hair for an elastic, and the leggings/pajama pants/yoga pants for jeans or a comfy skirt (find the tutorial for this one here). But regardless of where I am or what I am wearing, taking care of kids and a house sure qualifies as a sport in my book!
