ON ELI: BABY GAP GINGHAM ROMPER | FRESHLY PICKED MOCS
I’ve started to incorporate some spring items into my wardrobe and it’s gotten me so excited to dress for a new season! It’s been literally 80 degrees for weeks here in Southern California, which has made me start dressing for spring a bit early. I hopped over to Zappos.com and grabbed a few items to get this season started. Shopping online is a must for me these days. I had an idea of the items that I wanted, and narrowing down my search by style/color with the click of a button is so much easier than trying to physically search in a store with all my kids! I even downloaded the Zappos app on my phone, so I can do a little shopping while I’m on the go.
Whether you are sweating on the west coast or freezing on the east coast, here are 3 items to can add to your wardrobe to get you geared up for spring..
WHITE DISTRESSED JEANS: I had a pair of white jeans from before I was pregnant with Eli, but I’ve really had my eye out for some distressed ones. These white jeans from Zappos have a little distressing on the knee and a distressed undone hem which is my favorite part about them. They are also a fantastic length to wear with booties (getting the right length can be tricky with booties! I am 5’6″ for reference). White jeans will get you through so many light springy outfits this season.
ANIMAL PRINT BOOTIES: I’m just not ready to give up booties yet. It isn’t summer, so you can totally get away with it all through spring. An animal print bootie is fresh and feels more like spring than a dark brown or black pair. I have been in love with this pair of booties for months and I finally decided to take the plunge. Oh my gosh these boots are amazing. I wanted to be able to wear them on more than just date night to justify the price, and they are so comfy I feel like I could wear them anywhere! They are showstoppers for sure (that’s why I kept the rest of my look pretty toned down). The reviews said that they ran a 1/2 size big, but it was a quick and free exchange with Zappos, so it wasn’t a big deal. My suggestion on these is to stick with your normal shoe size on these guys.
STRIPED BAG: Anything striped or nautical is perfect for spring this year. I love the thinner navy stripes on this bag, and it really compliments the white jeans and booties.
