During summers in California, you get used to spending a lot of time at the beach or pool with the kids. I love days spent in the sun with the boys, and they would never leave if they didn’t have to (who can blame them!). But with long days spent in the sun, there are days when going from the beach or pool straight to a night out with Garrett or friends is inevitable.

On these days, I am all about finding cute outfits that I can conveniently take with me and throw on over my swimsuit at the end of the day (or make a quick change in without a stop home). This striped off the shoulder dress has been a huge help in that process! I can easily throw it over my suit in a hurry, and it’s easy to pack with us for the day.
