I pulled these three pieces separately when I was shopping the Nordstrom sale, and put the look together in the dressing room, and I instantly loved this brown and blue combo. The funny thing is, the model in the pictures for this coat is wearing this exact same look!
This skirt runs at least one size big, so be picky about size selection. It is buttery soft, and it has pockets. It’s an a-line cut, which you don’t see a lot of in leather skirts. This skirt would also be cute paired with this similar top if you wanted longer sleeves. I like to call this coat “grandma chic.” It’s a classic plaid with a modern cut, which keeps it youthful. This one runs very large as well.
I had such a fantastic birthday weekend relaxing with my family! We stayed the night in downtown on Friday night. I love short little getaways that are close by! You feel like you are escaping, but the drive home isn’t so draining. Other than Eli waking up at 5 am in the hotel, I’d say my birthday weekend was perfect! (I stood there hunched over tickling his back for 45 minutes trying to get him to go back to sleep! He finally did, but not till 7!) I want to thank you all again for the sweetest birthday messages and videos you sent me! I love hearing from so many of you, and I feel like even closer friends! I am just so so grateful for this community of amazing women!
