I love a good military jacket. I think it’s the gold buttons that sell me every time. I was pleasantly surprised when this jacket came in the mail and I found out it was made out of a stretchy knit material! There are small shoulder pads that add a bit of structure, but the knit makes it incredibly comfortable to wear. I also paired it with a feminine maxi dress last Sunday. I love how versatile it is (it comes in black, marigold, and white too). This jacket is way out of my price range, but probably the jacket of my dreams right now. The right embellishments and details on a jacket allow it to stand alone, so it looks great just paired with a simple tee and distressed jeans. I mentioned on my instagram stories earlier this week that I liked to listen to podcasts while I work out, and many of you wanted to know which ones I listened to. I started listening to the Serial podcast series a few months ago with Garrett, and it was so fun (and creepy…we still need to finish it). But lately I’ve been really interested in self-help and business podcasts. The podcast that got me hooked on podcasts in general was Awesome with Alison, by The Alison Show. I can’t recommend this podcast enough! It is SO inspiring, and she and her husband are hilarious! I am cracking up as I run and listen to them on the treadmill all the time! If you only listen to one of her episodes (which you won’t, you will listen to them all), listen to episode 25: Big Picture Thinking vs. Small Picture Thinking. It blew my mind and had my mind racing with new goals and ideas. I also listened to a handful of episodes from the Parenting on Purpose podcast (I recommend the ones on Raising Boys. So helpful for me!), and I just got into The Goal Digger Podcast from Jenna Kutcher. There is so much great content, and it is so polished and well done. In case you haven’t listened to one before, its just a free “Podcast” app on your phone! And all you have to do is search for the title of the podcast, or what you are interested in learning about on the app, and you can start listening!
