STRIPED SWEATER || OLIVE GREEN SKIRT || PEACH SUEDE WEDGES || SIMILAR BAG || SIMILAR SUNGLASSES
Spring just started, which means we are still in the midst of wearing transitional pieces to take us from colder to warmer weather. During this transition period, it can feel a little tricky some days knowing exactly what to throw on. So I broke it down into three items that you can get away with wearing comfortably right now.
3 ITEMS PERFECT FOR THE BEGINNING OF SPRING:
During early spring, you can still get by with a light weight sweater. Opt for 3/4 sleeves, or find a sweater where the sleeves easily roll up. My striped sweater is 3/4 sleeves, so it makes it easy to throw on in the morning without worrying about being too hot or cold later in the day.
A skirt is another early spring piece that is versatile, and pairing a sweater with a skirt keeps you from getting too warm. For early spring, you can also get away with darker colors still, like this olive green skirt. You don’t have to limit yourself to only pastels and whites right away. Eventually, as the weather warms up more, you can look for skirts with lighter colors. ModCloth always has a great assortment of skirts and dresses for any season, and their spring dresses offer a great mix of florals, prints, and colors.
Finally, I would add a pair of wedges or sandals. Taking a pair of suede wedges into spring is a really easy way to slowly start to break into warmer weather shoes. Some sandals are just too cold to wear until later in spring, but wedges give you more coverage and still give your look that spring feel. ModCloth has a lot of cute block heel sandals and wedges that would be perfect for wearing all spring.
