GRAPHIC BLONDIE TEE (wearing a med, runs small) || SIMILAR STRETCH CHAMBRAY BOMBER JACKET (exact jacket in a darker wash here) || JEANS || SIMILAR WHITE MULES || SIMILAR COGNAC CROSSBODY BAG || SUNGLASSES || NECKLACE
Graphic tees are great for adding a casual vibe to a look, which I love, however…when I’m searching for a graphic tee this is usually what I’m thinking as I scroll through pages of options: “hate it, hate it, I don’t need a giant snoopy on my chest, I don’t listen to Led Zeppelin, too many words, hate it, etc.” I’m picky. There are plenty of sayings that are funny, but very few that I want spelled out on a shirt.
I figured if I was picky about the graphic tees I wear, you might be too. So I poured through a good chunk of reasonably priced graphic tees online this weekend and narrowed them down to my top five. I think my thing with graphic tees is that I have to have some kind of a connection to it. I picked this blondie tee because even though I never listened to the band growing up, that was a nickname my vocal coach in high school called me, so I thought it worked. I can always count on Levi’s to make a good graphic tee. I styled one a while back in this post, and I still wear that tee quite a bit. My dad lived in Italy for two years, so this one caught my eye (I also love the colors on it). I really love old school brand tees, like this Adidas one, and this LA tee somehow ended up in my cart 😉 And while this one didn’t make it on my list, I might need to buy this tee and then wear it to Disney.
FIVE OF MY FAVORITE GRAPHIC TEES UNDER $50
Graphic tees are great because they are pretty easy and straightforward to style, and the print on the front can usually take the place of that “third item” that often completes a look. Distressed jeans or a distressed denim jacket are a great fit for a graphic tee, as are flats or sneakers. I would shy away from pairing them with a skirt or too fancy of heels. The point of a graphic tee is to be understated, not fancy. But I always throw on some of my favorite layered gold necklaces with a graphic tee for a simple feminine touch.

My dad lived in Italy for 2 years also. I may have to get that shirt. Thanks for posting it!
I’m also picky about tee although my go-to outfit is always tee and jeans. That red Adidas tee is cute! Love your picks!
