I don’t have sisters, and I don’t have daughters, so I’m sharing this tip with you. Lay off the dry shampoo. Seriously, it’ll clog your scalp and make your hair grow slower or not at all. Here are three things you can do in between washes instead of just layering on the dry shampoo:
1. Hit your roots with a cold blow dryer after working out. Flip your head over and use a blow dryer on the cold setting to soak up any excess grease
2. Use a little bit of loose setting powder instead. This setting powder is my little secret weapon, especially when I only have 5 min before we need to leave for church. Don’t buy it from Amazon – it’s fake. Buy directly from their site (here’s a link). Just put a little bit on a big fluffy brush and then lightly tap it into your hair so it soaks up the grease a bit but doesn’t get into your scalp.
3. If you do use dry shampoo, apply it to a brush first and then comb it through your hair. You’ll see what it looks like on the brush – you definitely don’t want that on your scalp!
