I made it back to Fashion Week! I went a few years ago, and I have been dying to get back. This season my schedule finally allowed me to sneak away from the boys for a few days and head out to the city. This week and next week I will be sharing my looks all throughout Fashion Week, and highlighting some of the upcoming trends for fall.
One fall trend that usually peeks its head through each fall is the military trend. In past seasons I have incorporated it with an olive green military jacket. This year as I was planning looks for Fashion Week, I fell head over heels with this embellished blazer I saw at Nordstrom. I knew it would be perfect to style for a show. Blazers are a great way to add a military vibe to your look, and I like to keep it girly with a pair of minimal ankle-strap sandals. This blazer option has sporty embellishments that also add a touch of girly to the structured style.
