GREEN BLOUSE || HEADBAND || JEANS
In high school I worked for years at a party store. We were in charge of filling hundreds of balloon orders and helping with party decor and rentals. While working there I tied my fair share of bows! I learned how to tie the perfect bow, and I still use this trick today when I’m wrapping presents or tying bows on my wreaths.
It’s pretty simple! I’ve included the instructions below…
HOW TO TIE THE PERFECT BOW
Tie a knot and pull the right loop for the bow so it runs straight up and down (this is the trick!). Hold at the center with your right hand and loop the left ribbon around and through the hole to create a bow.
Make sure your ribbon lies flat as you cross it in front of your first loop. As you pull the second loop through the hole grab both loops and pull them together evenly and tightly.
From here you can adjust the size of the loops. This will allow for the ends of the bow to both hang straight down and the loops to go straight across at the top!
I promise once you get in the habit of making sure your first loop runs straight up and down it will be so easy to create the perfect bow each time!
I have a LOT more bows to tie on presents before Christmas!
