WHAT IT WAS LIKE BUILDING A HOME ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH STANLEY MARTIN HOMES

What it was like building a home across the country

< dress linked >

We are officially settling into our new life in Charlottesville, VA. I’ve said it many times, but never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be raising our family in a state very far away from our home in California.

We were fortunate enough to build our new home with Stanley Martin Home. Today I’m thrilled to be partnering with them to share about what our home building process was like, floor plans, additions, finishes, with an unexpected pandemic thrown in for good measure.

What it was like building a home across the country

<our first time stepping foot on the lot. We knew it was meant for our family!>

WHY DID WE MOVE TO CHARLOTTESVILLE

I talked more about why we decided to make the move to Charlottesville more in depth in this post, but it’s something I get asked all the time. Garrett had been working remotely in Pasadena for a law firm based out of Charlottesville for the past two years. There was never any pressure from the firm to move, but after looking up and down Southern California, nothing really felt right. We had never purchased a home before and being renters meant that we had the flexibility to move wherever we felt was right for our family.

After searching and searching I agreed to check out Charlottesville. I *knew* there was no way that was in the plans for us, but I felt strongly like I needed to keep somewhat of an open mind. We made the most of a quick trip out there last fall and met with a realtor who showed us all that the city had to offer. I fell in love with the area and all of the freedom my boys would have to run and play.

What it was like building a home across the country

THE STORY OF OUR LOT

Our realtor showed us a newer development by Stanley Martin Homes. We loved the idea of an up and coming neighborhood because that meant everyone would be new and we wouldn’t feel quite so isolated in that sense. While we were driving around looking at available lots, we pulled up to a beautiful lot situated in the same spot on a culDul-de-sac that our cul-de-sac home in Pasadena was located. I looked at the street sign and it was the exact same name of our street in Pasadena! I was incredibly emotional and continued to be an emotional wreck for the rest of the trip. It was the most crystal clear sign that we had found the spot to build our first home. Any time I felt fear or panic, I reminded myself of the answer we received the day we found our lot.

WHY WE DECIDED TO BUILD WITH STANLEY MARTIN HOMES

Our realtor spoke very highly of Stanley Martin Homes. As first time home builders and buyers, we were very picky with who we wanted to build our home. We spoke with other acquaintances in the area and everyone had amazing things to say about the quality and craftsmanship of Stanley Martin Homes.

What it was like building a home across the country

We spent two days looking through various Stanley Martin model homes and both fell in love with the floorplan of one in particular. One thing that really drew me to Stanley Martin was that there were so many elevation options for each floor plan. I really loved the design of most of the homes and the cohesive look of all the homes in a Stanley Martin neighborhood was really appealing. There were enough different options that the homes in the neighborhoods still had a very custom feel while all remaining aesthetically pleasing.

FLOOR PLAN + ADDITIONS

There were a lot of great floor plans, but we really fell in love with a plan called The Carey. The layout of the home was very similar to our current house in Pasadena and I loved that. It was a smart design that I could tell right away would work well with our family.

As you enter the home, the dining room is on the left and a music/library room is on the right. The family room and kitchen were connected in the back. This is how our Pasadena home was laid out and I loved it. I can keep the two front rooms more maintained and a little more elevated in my design/decor, and make the family room very family friendly. It was perfect.

Loft– This home came with a basement, an optional loft, and an optional four-foot extension on the back of the house. We loved the idea of having a loft for both of our offices. The loft miiiight be my favorite part of the home. My office up there is set up like a studio, with lots of natural light for shooting and plenty of space for styling, sewing and working. Another door leads to Garrett’s office. We chose to leave that unfinished for now, but we have some great plans for that space as well.

Basement – Never in my life did I think I would get a basement. It’s just not an option living in California. We have only had it for a few months now and I’m already so grateful! The boys head down there and play games and have nerf gun fights. We have a room down there we will convert into a home gym, and an unfinished room we will finish off as a guest bedroom. I really like that we have a space for family to stay that gives them some space and privacy.

Dual Owners Closets – I was sooo excited about the separate closets in this floor plan. I can’t wait to get my closet completed. I have a lot of fun design elements in mind for it.

What it was like building a home across the country

Owner bedroom sitting area – We added a 4 ft extension to the home, which gave us a really good size sitting area in our master. Pretty much all of our living room furniture is in that space now and we love sitting there at night while Garrett reads Harry Potter to the boys and while I nurse. It’s a space I didn’t think we would use as much as we do.

FLOORING AND FINISHES THROUGHOUT OUR STANLEY MARTIN HOME

We made our finishing selections at Stanely Martin’s Design Center. We made a special trip out here back in January just for this meeting. Here are a few of the finishes we picked that I am thrilled with:

What it was like building a home across the country

What it was like building a home across the country

Flooring: Armstrong Rigid Core Elements “Society Oak”  – we went with this lighter colored LVP throughout the main level, second floor, and loft (we opted for carpet in the basement). I am so in love with our floors!! I was back and forth trying to decide between real wool and LVP and I think multiple times a day how happy I am that I went with LVP. It is pretty much indestructible. The lighter shade is exactly what I was looking for.

Wall color: Super White – there were a handful of interior paint options the Stanley Martin design center offered, so I just went with this white and it ended up being a really great matte white throughout the whole home with high gloss molding in the same shade throughout. I plan on adding paint and wallpaper to a few of the rooms, but I’m really happy with this shade of white! It really sets the tone for the whole home.

Kitchen countertops: Carrara Marmi Quartz  – I debated between quartz and marble, but again, I’m glad I went this route for now. It’s really durable and great for our family.

Doorknobs: I went with black door knobs and hinges with a 5 paneled shaker style door throughout the house and I’m so happy I did! It finishes off each room nicely with a bit of a modern feel, and works well with our shaker style cabinets.

Owner Bath Cabinets: Sonoma Painted Stone – a really pretty grey/blue.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE BUILDING A HOUSE ACROSS THE COUNTRY?!

Honestly, I think I may have been more stressed if we lived close by! With a baby on the way and a pandemic, I think there were so many big things going on at once I didn’t really have the time to stress a ton about any one thing!

What it was like building a home across the country

< picking out our finishes at the design center >

The team at Stanley Martin made the whole process really wonderful, even with the curveballs of Covid. Did you know the building of our home wasn’t delayed at all? I was shocked. I thought for sure we would have to postpone our move with the craziness of Covid. From the day they broke ground to completion our home took four months.

We had weekly calls with the lead builder and our Stanley Martin rep. They filled us in on the progress of each week, sent us pictures, and talked through any concerns we had. I was very specific with a few of the changes (moving /adding windows, moving light switches, electrical plug placement, etc). We had multiple facetimes with the builder so that we could see details of the progress.

Knowing that we were working with a home builder that was so highly recommended by people we trusted really put our minds at ease. Our builder and Stanley Martin rep were also great at responding to emails and assuring us our home would be finished in the time we were planning on.

HOW WE ARE LIKING OUR HOME SO FAR

I am so happy that we went the route of building with Stanley Martin instead of buying and renovating or building completely custom. I felt like I had enough say in quite a few structural elements that I could create a home that was definitely “me”, without the complications of a remodel or the endless decisions of a 100% custom home.

What it was like building a home across the country

What it was like building a home across the country

In the end we have a beautiful home that fits my style and works well with our family that I’m excited to dive into and add my own unique elements to as we settle in.

FUTURE DESIGN PLANS…

My design to do list is endless, but that is so exciting to me! I graduated with an emphasis in interior design, and I have been waiting for my own home to design.

What it was like building a home across the country

I’m starting with our main level and adding built-ins and a custom mantle in the family room, changing up light fixtures and hardware in the kitchen, custom molding to the dining room, and I have the most gorgeous wallpaper picked out for our music room.

I’m also really excited about designing my office with built-ins and molding, finishing our home gym, adding wallpaper and pretty design elements to the owner’s suite, and finishing the basement. I also can’t wait to design all our landscaping! We are adding hydrangeas to a large section of the front of our home, planting dogwood trees without most gorgeous blossoms, adding a deck, and one day putting in a pool (still working on getting Garrett on board with that one). We have a lot planned and I can’t wait to share the transformation of each space with you.

I’ve received messages from you that are looking to build your own home, and I can’t recommend Stanley Martin enough. They were so wonderful to work with and I’m so happy we picked them as our home builder. They have neighborhoods all over Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Maryland. I’m so incredibly happy with how our house turned out.

A BEDROOM UPGRADE + SERENA & LILY RUG 30% OFF SALE

Serena & Lily Bedroom

We moved into our home two years ago and I was so excited about our bedroom. In our previous house the master bedroom had been converted from an attic, so the ceilings were really low and it was a really tough space to live in. Our new bedroom was all hardwood floors, very spacious, and I couldn’t wait to decorate. Living in a home with all hardwood floors is wonderful but I knew that rugs were going to play a crucial role in how I decorated.

Fast forward two years and our room has slowly become a catch all for laundry, toys, returns, boxes, you name it. The extra space is wonderful, but so much of my decorating energy went towards our downstairs living area. We have hardwood floors throughout our room. I’ve been eyes this particular rug from Serena & Lily for over a year. I never pulled the trigger, because I thought that if we got a new rug, I would need new bedding, new paint, new nightstands, a bench for the end of the bed, new pillows, etc etc. I love decorating, but my mind is usually much faster than my budgets. I often feel like if I can’t completely redo a room at once I just don’t do anything to it. Do you feel this way?

My partner in design

I had the opportunity to connect with Serena & Lily and was more than happy to make them my partner in design for this space. It was time to jump on the rug I’ve been loving forever. I also decided that I was going to use only decor that I already had to try and complete the space the best I could. I got this rug in an 8X10 and it worked perfectly in the space.

All of Serena & Lily’s rugs are 30% off today through midnight, so now is your chance to grab one if you’ve had your eye on it forever like I did!

Grounded!

I can’t believe what a difference the rug made! It completely transformed the room. All of a sudden our bed felt grounded and there was a clearly designed spot for it in our room. We used our old headboard, mixed and matched some Serena & Lily pillows I had downstairs (I used this one in the middle of the bed and this one on our chair), cleaned off and styled my nightstands and I was shocked at how complete the room felt with just the addition of the rug.

Serena & Lily Bedroom

Completing a room can often feel overwhelming and intimidating, but I’m realizing that it only takes a few key pieces to really transform a space. My advice to any of you struggling to design a space is to start with the rug. It will act as a background for your furniture and color scheme.

I linked to some of my other favorite Serena & Lily rugs (like this one we have in the boys room, now on sale too!) along with other beautiful pieces.

HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM FALL WREATH + ELI’S COSTUME REVEAL

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of eBay. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love changing out my front door wreath for the holidays. It’s a quick way to get in the holiday spirit and something fun you and your guests can enjoy! I used to have a fall wreath but over the years it got pretty banged up, so I decided to create a new one for this Halloween.

How to create a fall wreath for Halloween

I didn’t love the pre-made wreaths I saw available online so I decided to create my own. I started my search at eBay! Did you know ebay has tons of great Halloween decor items? I was blown away by their selection.

To create my fall wreath I started with a simple green wreathfor my base. This gives you a really good starting point because it’s already filled with foliage, and I just get to add to it as I like.

I picked this eucalyptus wreath I found on ebay. I got it in 2 days (did you know you can filter by shipping speed?) and it was perfect! Then I found a bunch of faux fall leaves here.

How to create a fall wreath for Halloween

Once you have your green wreath and the additional leaves you want to add, the process for creating your own custom wreath is simple:

Step one:

Cut off sections of the leaves with a wire cutter. Make sure you leave a long enough stem on each section you cut off. (you can cut this all up at once if you like, but I like to cut it as I go)

How to create a fall wreath for Halloween

Step two:

Move the leaves on your wreath away to reveal the base of the wreath. Take the stem of the section you just cut and push it into the wreath base to secure it. You can also super glue the stem in, but I found that it was pretty secure just by pushing it into the wreath base.

How to create a fall wreath for Halloween

Step three:

Make sure the leaves that you are adding are going the same direction as the original leaves on the wreath so that the final look is cohesive. Continue cutting leaf sections and securing them into the wreath. Place sections on the inside and outer edge of the wreath as you go to give nice even coverage.

How to create a fall wreath for Halloween

Step four:

Once you have completed the entire wreath, go back and add in any extra leaves to sections that are a bit empty. I like the look of incorporating a larger number of fall leaves to my wreath for a bigger fall effect.

I found this cute bat garland on Ebay as well and it’s so cute! It was really inexpensive and I ordered 3 packs. I taped together 2 packs to make it all around my door, and used the third garland on my fireplace.

I can’t believe I found all the supplies I needed on ebay! I just typed in what I was looking for (ie: faux fall leaves), then filtered by 2 day shipping, and I had lots of great options to choose from.

NOW I get to reveal Eli’s Halloween costume with you! You guys, this year’s costume is going to be pretty obvious if you follow me on stories. Eli has a strong love for DJ Marshmello (he likes his dances, his music, and eating the food). He does his little Marshmello dance everywhere we go. I gave him a Marshmello mask for his birthday, but I wanted one that lit up for him to wear on Halloween so I can keep track of him easily while we are trick or treating.

Look what I found on ebay!

This mask was so perfect. It was so inexpensive and the best part is it has a button attached to it that lights up the face with blue lights! You should have seen his face when I showed him. He is obsessed! This mask I grabbed on ebay made for the easiest, funniest costume!

As you start to decorate for Halloween, make sure you mark ebay as a shopping destination! They have all things Halloween at a great price points. I always filter by the “buy it now” and “2 day shipping” options and I’m really impressed with their selection.

LIVING ROOM REVEAL

I’ve been prepping and designing my living room for quite some time, so I’m thrilled that it’s finally complete and that I get to share it with you today! One of my favorite parts about our home is the that we have a spot in our living room for a piano.

In full transparency, when I say that I’ve waited a long time for this kind of a room, I mean… a looong time. I’ve wanted a beautiful living room with a white couch and a piano since we first got married twelve years ago. I was thrilled when we moved into our new home that had the absolute perfect living room, but this room sat completely empty for an entire year. Now while I wish that I could have just snapped my finger and decorated this room in an instant… I wanted very specific and special pieces in this room, and I was willing to wait and save to decorate it the way I wanted to. In the meantime, this room served as the space where I cut and designed almost all of my Monthly Dresses. It was full of yards of fabric and mannequins (and soccer balls and nerf guns). I love that we get to enjoy this room as a family now (playing the piano, family scripture study, naps, and visiting with friends), but I’m also grateful for the soccer games and sewing pins that filled this room before we could actually fill it with furniture.

I love our couch so much. I wrote about my experience designing it here. While some might think I’m crazy for getting a white couch with three boys, I’m really happy that I did. The fabric is durable and can be spot treated. I’ve wanted a white couch for so long and I feel like if I wait for the perfect moment to get an amazing couch..I’ll be left waiting a lifetime. I love that we can enjoy it now and it makes me happy every day when I see it. The boys know they can’t have shoes, toys, or food in this room and I just make sure they follow the rules. They are good about it!

Our piano was the very first purchase I made for this room. I’ve so missed being able to sit at a piano to play and sing! I also love hearing the boys practice their piano here.

HOW I’M GIVING MYSELF THE GIFT OF INSPIRATION THIS HOLIDAY

Versanora gold and marble office shelf

MARMO LARGE GOLD DISPLAY SHELF AND GOLD ARQUER FLOOR LAMP BOTH C/O VERSANORA

THE MOST UNINSPIRING PLACE IN MY HOME NEEDED A MAKEOVER…

Since we moved into our home, I’ve put my focus on getting the main living areas in our home decorated. Slowly but surely things are starting to come together, but the one room that I have had to brush aside for the time being is my office. Over time my poor office has been the room that we store things in that we aren’t using and it has become one of the least inspiring rooms in the house.

Now I know I can’t snap my fingers and have everything decorated all at once. I want to take my time and select pieces that I absolutely love. I also know how much the space I am working in affects my mental state and my creativity. It’s finally time to start pulling my office together and one of the top items on my Christmas wish list is a shelf where I can display some of my favorite things that will keep me inspired as I work. When I learned that Versanora’s Christmas campaign is #GoGiftYourself and that they are encouraging people like me to not wait for Santa to come through on delivering our wishlist items and to instead just go for it, I jumped at the chance!

VERSANORA STATEMENT FURNITURE THAT WILL HELP INSPIRE ME

I found this gorgeous chic shelf at Versanora and I’m thrilled at how much it has already elevated my office space. The Marmo Display Shelf is beautiful to look at, but is also incredibly functional. I finally have a place to display my fashion and clothing design books I’ve collected over the years, and I get to keep some of my favorite heels font and center rather than packed away in boxes at the back of my closet. I love that the faux marble actually looks like real marble in person!

It’s really amazing how the setting of the space I’m working in sets the tone for how I work. I love that I can change out these shelves with different flower arrangements or pictures throughout the year to keep it looking fresh and keep my creativity wheels going.

MARMO LARGE GOLD DISPLAY SHELF AND GOLD ARQUER FLOOR LAMP BOTH C/O VERSANORA

Gold Arquer Versanora Floor Lamp

I wanted to include a pretty light fixture in my office as well. Also, I really like having a ceiling fan, so I wanted a floor lamp that could be a really great focal point. The Gold Arquer Versanora Floor Lamp I picked for the room provides plenty of light and almost acts as a piece of jewelry for the room, it’s so beautiful! I’ve read reviews on a lot of other floor lamps that made me a little hesitant about how sturdy this kind of lamp could be, but the quality of this particular lamp surpassed my expectations!

The base is nice and heavy and I don’t have to worry about the top falling over. This lamp is on sale right now and I love that Versanora offers such quality home decor at an affordable price point. Versanora is a brand of Teamson, a family of brands that offers furniture for both adults and children, as well as kitchen playsets, doll furniture accessories and so much more.

A FRAGRANT HOME + VOTIVO CANDLE GIVEAWAY & AN EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT CODE

This Wonderful White is one of my favorite scents

My favorite candle scents   My favorite candle scentsFloral vanity styling. Completely obsessed with this Red Current candle container. It will last me forever!

I have always been obsessed with scents. Perfume and candles are my two favorite gifts to receive and to give. Fragrance is so nostalgic to me, and I connect many memories with smells. The smell of pink lemonade chapstick instantly transports me back to 8th grade walking the halls of my middle school and passing notes in class. Tiffany’s perfume is what I wore on my wedding day, and it reminds me of my reception. Old pages of books remind me of learning to read at the library with my mom, and the smell of Big Red gum reminds me of driving in the car with my dad to school in the mornings.

I have such a strong connection to scents, and I have always been really particular with what scents I spray or candles I have burning in my home. I have always been partial to floral scents, and I mentally connect a light pretty scent from a candle burning to a clean and organized home. That’s why one of the first things I do to get motivated to clean my house when it is cluttered and messy is light a candle. Votivo candles have been my go-to candle lately. They are such high quality! I can set a candle on my fireplace mantle and my whole living room smells amazing without even lighting it. And unlike some candles I have that burn really quickly, these ones last so long. All of the candle scents are rich and so fragrant.

I got to test some of the top Votivo candles and reed diffuser scents, and here are my top 5 favorite scents:

  1. Rush of Rose: I’m not surprised the rose scent is my favorite. Some rose scents can be too strong and smell like an old lady to me, but this one is perfect. It’s my favorite rose scented candle I have ever had. It’s a fresh, light rose scent, but still so fragrant. It makes my house smell like a fresh rose bouquet in just a few minutes, and it reminds me of the rose garden our next door neighbor had in his front yard. I would always stop and smell all the different colors of roses he had when we went on walks.
  2. Wonderful White: I was surprised how much I loved this scent! It’s very clean and elegant, and it’s always the scent I light while I clean. It reminds me of clean white lilies on Easter, and it is so perfectly named.
  3. Red Current: These scented candles come in the most amazing gold containers (I have this one and I’m obsessed. It is huge!). I was drawn to them initially because of the containers, but the scent is so good. It has a deeper musk to it. I love musk scents because I feel like they smell better the longer the scent lingers, and that is the case with these candles. It is slightly earthy, but in a feminine way (I’m not usually drawn to earthy scents, but I love this one).
  4. White Ocean Sands: I can’t wait to burn this candle every day in the summer. I’m not a huge fan of beachy scented candles when they smell too strongly of coconut or pina colada, but this scent is a little more sophisticated. It definitely reminds me of a summer day at the beach, with a faint hint of rose essence.
  5. Pucker Up Pink: This scent is a touch of fruity strawberry, but it still has floral gardenia undertones. It is light and clean, and perfect for spring.

With today being National Fragrance Day, I have partnered with Votivo, one of my favorite candle brands, to give TWO lucky winners a Votivo Fragrance Package (values at $75).

3 TIPS TO THROWING A SECRET SANTA PARTY

Holiday parties are so much fun to attend, and to throw.
This year I decided to get some of my girlfriends together and have a little
Secret Santa party. We usually hang out together at the park while we run
around after our kiddos, so it was nice to have a quiet night together after
all our kids went to sleep.
My favorite part about the party was that everyone gave such
thoughtful gifts to the girl they were assigned to bring a gift for! We all
have various interests, styles, and personalities so it was so fun to see what
each girl was gifted.
I put together a few quick tips on how to throw a successful
Secret Santa party. I kept this one really simple, with a few pretty décor
items from World Market that helped add elegance and style to the décor.
Keep the number intimate and even-
Its fun when you have a change to chat with each person at a
small gathering. I think around 6-8 people makes for a fun intimate party. And
the number needs to be even so that everyone that brings a gift gets a gift.
Set a price point-
Make sure everyone is aware and comfortable with the price
point you set for the Secret Santa gifts. Sending out a group text is helpful
and asking for input just to feel out to make sure everyone is ok with the
amount being spent on a present. Our price point was $25 for each girl. Also
make sure everyone knows whether they are getting a nice gift or a funny gift.
Both make for a great party, but its important to make sure everyone is on the
same page with the kind of gift to bring. Same thing goes for dress. I asked
the girls if they would rather come in festive jammies or nicer holiday
outfits. It’s important to get input from people attending to make sure
everyone will be happy and comfortable.
Ask for help-

Since the party is for close friends, no one will mind if
you ask for help! I asked each girl to bring an appetizer. I know the girls in
our group love a good appetizer, where candy and desserts might not get eaten
as much. So try and tailor the food to what you know your friends will want to
bring/eat.

OFFICE INSPIRATION: WHITE + GOLD + ORCHID

When we first moved into our house I was so excited to decorate my office. I wanted to make the space light, airy, and feminine. I wanted to it to be a place that could really help spark my creativity. I spend lots of late nights in there working and I wanted it to be a place that I would enjoy spending hours in. I am so close to being done and I can’t wait to share it with you! Today I wanted to share my inspiration board. Creating the board really helps bring my vision to life, and made it easy to see what works and what doesn’t.

I fell in love with this lotus light fixture and this rug, and pulled inspiration from both of these two pieces. I can’t wait to share the completed look with you!

HUES OF GOLD // LIVING ROOM INSPIRATION WITH WORLD MARKET

After living in our house almost a year, I am finally ready to really start decorating our space.  We live in a bungalow built back in 1912 that was recently remodeled.  It has so much charm and after lots of stewing, shopping, and planning, I have started finalizing the designs for each room.  Right now I am working on my kitchen/living room area.  It is one big room, and I want a light neutral space with a few pops of color and gold accents (so pretty much how I plan my outfits).  World Market has been a lifesaver for me in the design process.  I feel like they are this hidden gem full of so many beautifully designed pieces at incredible prices.  I just snagged this amazing light fixture for my office for just under $100!  I am completely obsessed and have been on the hunt for something like this for months.

While the decor accents add the finishing touches, starting with amazing furniture pieces are really what kickstarts the look and feel of a room.  World Market is having a huge 25% off sale on all of their furniture and it starts today!  I’m ready to narrow in on some key pieces (these beauties have my name all over them) and wanted to make sure you all could benefit as well.  (use code FURNTIME)  Enjoy, and happy weekend!

BLACK AND WHITE HALLOWEEN

Today I’m giving you a peek into our Halloween decorations this year.  I wanted to keep things pretty simple, and just played up a black and white theme.  This will be a really quick and easy to transition into Thanksgiving once Halloween is over.  I could keep those white pumpkins up all year round.

The boys are really into crafts right now.  Which is fun, because that’s totally up my alley.  We made simple cotton ball ghosts that were quick, easy, and not super messy (all of which are key ingredients for a good kids project).  Then I hung them across our front window.  The boys love to admire their handiwork.

When I was setting up to make the ghost, Bradley told me he wanted be filmed while they made them.  So I set up my computer really quick and caught the following gem of a video.  This is incredibly crappy quality, but here is a tutorial for the ghosts by Bradley!  (Cash giggling to himself at the beginning of the video…I could die).
